The little art shop ltd which trades as “the little art gallery” is the physical shop and handles sales. Thelittleartgallery.online is for our online presence. Blame unavailability of domain names!

Provenance – original works of art.
In the context of our gallery Provenance is the chronology of ownership, custody or location of a work of art and is, essentially, a matter of documentation.
We, at the little art gallery, send a purchaser’s name and address to the artist to fulfil our role in producing this chain of documents.
If, for any reason, a purchaser does not wish to have their personal information passed to the artist then we will comply and not send the information. It is our understanding that this may have an effect on any later attempt to establish Provenance including establishing a value.
Our approach will be discretionary but is likely to apply only to art works valued in excess of two hundred and fifty (£250.00) pounds.
